• Hermaphroditic Worm Diet = Longer, Stronger Memory

  Yes, as strange as it sounds, Scientists have placed the legendary hermaphrodite worm C. Elegans on a calorie restricted diet and they’ve discovered that they maintain their memory longer into old age.

  Testing worm memory isn’t as difficult as it sounds.  The researches simply place a drop of chemical butanone into the drink and then measure the amount of time it takes for the worms to find it.  Those who have learned the route to the pub previously will find it faster and those who have a restricted diet remember it longer than their fellow fatties.

  If looking good on the beach isn’t enough of a motivation to slim down, just keep our friends the hermaphrodite worms in mind and that should do the trick.
